Sen. Kennedy Brings Pistol Brace to Senate, Criticizes Biden’s ‘Stabilizing Brace’ Ban

Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) decried an “anti-Second Amendment” rule in the Senate today as he criticized the pistol brace ban that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) introduced in January. Kennedy used a pistol brace he had brought to the Senate floor to demonstrate how the device would not make a gun more lethal. The Senate subsequently rejected his resolution, which had passed the House and would have prevented the ATF from enforcing the ban.
