Sen. Hawley Shows Picture of Riley Gaines Being Assaulted by Protesters, Stunned by Her Story of Being Held for ‘Ransom’

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) asked decorated collegiate swimmer and female sports advocate Riley Gaines about her experience at San Francisco State University, at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on June 21. “Unbelievable!” Hawley exclaimed before he showed a picture of Gaines being barricaded and assaulted by “hundreds of” protesters who tried to stop her from giving a speech.
