GOP Senators Hold Press Conference on Ending Military COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate

Senators Rick Scott (R-Fla.), Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Ted Cruz (R-Texas), and Mike Lee (R-Utah) host a press conference on ending the military’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 2:00 p.m. ET at the Ohio Clock Corridor in the Capitol.
The senators sent a letter on Wednesday to Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell expressing opposition to moving forward with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2023 unless the Senate votes on an amendment to prohibit discharges from the Armed Forces solely because of COVID-19 vaccination status.
