Arizona GOP Chair Warns Voting Machines in Maricopa County Are Malfunctioning

The head of Arizona’s Republican Party and GOP candidates said Tuesday morning that voting machine tabulators in Maricopa County, Arizona, have malfunctioned amid the critical midterm elections.
“BIG problems with @MaricopaVote . Tabulator ‘malfunctions’ at at least 6 places. DO NOT PUT YOUR BALLOT IN “BOX 3” TO BE “TABULATED DOWNTOWN.” Maricopa will not be turning on the downtown tabulators today,” Arizona GOP Chairwoman Kelli Ward wrote on Twitter at around 9:45 a.m. ET.
Maricopa Elections Department spokesperson Megan Gilbertson told AZCentral that about 10 percent of locations in Maricopa are seeing tabulator problems.
