The Federalist Society, one of the most influential legal organizations in the United States, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The group hosted its annual gala on Thursday, the Antonin Scalia Memorial Dinner, which featured remarks from U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Amy Coney Barrett, among others.
“It’s really nice to have a lot of noise made not by protesters outside of my house,” Barrett remarked as she took the stage at Union Station in Washington.
