SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.—The votes are still trickling in, but it’s too close to call a winner for the hotly contested Arizona governor’s race.
With about 66 percent of the votes reported as of 11:22 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs led Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake by 11,726 votes, according to The Associated Press.
With the race too close to call, Lake took the stage at 10 p.m. local time on Tuesday, and told watch partygoers that she was ready to “fight to win,” and, even if it takes hours or days, she’s confident about her chances.
