Downtown East Palestine, Ohio, on Feb. 22 looked much like it does on a high school football Friday during the fall—mostly abandoned and quiet. Instead of gathering for a football game, however, residents congregated near the East Palestine Fire Department on a Wednesday afternoon hoping to get a glimpse of former President Donald Trump.
