House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) confirmed Tuesday that his committee conducted a transcribed interview with an FBI whistleblower while his panel investigates the Department of Justice and bureau.
“We’ve now had dozens of whistleblowers come talk to House Republican staff on the Judiciary Committee,” Jordan said in a news conference. “In fact, one of [the whistleblowers] is testifying in a transcribed interview as we speak.”
An FBI whistleblower is testifying to Republicans on Tuesday about how the “Justice Department is operating in such a political fashion and manner,” Jordan said.
